The Museum

Yesterday，after had a lunch in the Les Five Sens, Genesis, John, Dave and me went the Nanjing Museum. This museum is very interesting; I learn a lot of knowledge during this tour.
The Nanjing Museum is really a huge museum, it is divided into a few museums, and everyone is very big. We had no enough time, so we just visit one of the museums. That museum called WuHuaTianBao. The museum is divided into some areas. There are Anclent Chinese Lacquer Exhibition, ShaoYiFu Jude Ware Hall, Cloud Brocade Hall, Modern Art Hall, Fubaoshi Art Exhibition Hall, Bronze Ware Hall , Folk Art Hall and so on. We first went to the Anclent Chinese Lacquer Exhibition. China is the first country that used lacquering technology, it is the luxuries of noble families. Followed the passage of time, the lacquering technology became more and better. We saw an artwork----“Carved Box With Landscape, Building and Figure Design”. It is made in about 1736—1795. It is so exquisite. Then we went to Cloud Brocade Hall, I saw the mantling of King and corselet of general, they are so cool! I took a photo with the corselet. It is good.
We also visited other hall, but it not attract me. We had a good time, we enjoy it.

The Les Five Sens

Yesterday ，Genesis, John , Dave and me went to the French Restaurant yesterday, we had lunch here.
After made the movie, we went to the French Restaurant together. The French Restaurant called Les Five Sens, its address is Hankou Road 52-1. When we went into the restaurant, its atmosphere infected us. I felt the romantic and noble full of air, the Layout of furniture also very good, the environment is perfect. We took some pictures, then we began to order dishes. The menu is very beautiful, there were Chinese and French on it. I ordered a filet steak, a salad and a coffee, Dave ordered a steak, a salad, Genesis ordered noodle and a French food, and John ordered the same things. After a long waiting time, the food came, we began to enjoyed eating the food. The salad was made of chicken, vegetable and some fruit. It tasted very good, it let me want to have the other food eagerly. Although my favourite steak is T-bone steak, I tasted the filet steak. When I put a piece of filet steak in my mouth---- wow! That’s really rare. I can’t forgot eating it that rare. The taste of beef and flavoring, it is great! At last, I enjoyed a cup of coffee. When I drank the coffee, the taste attracted me very much., I had a perfect ending of this lunch.
We also learnt some thing of western dining etiquette. Like:
1, When a man and a lady have western dining together, the man is responsible for order and pay the check or bill.
2, When the foreigner have western dining, they always say a prayer or "blessing”, you should lower your head, its represent your manner and respect.
3,When you are eating something, you should avert to make noise.
4,When you finish eating, you should put the knife and the fork on the main plate.

We had a good time in the Les Five Sens, I will never forget it forever.

Club Activity

In the beginning of the term,I joined in RollerSkating Club.I felt very happy now,because I enjoy roller skating very much.
I joined in RollerSkating Club because I have some reasons.First,adjust the amount of movement can be a wide range of movement effects, such as weight loss and so on.It can improve muscle endurance and can enhance the arm, legs, waist, abdominal muscles, such as physical strength and flexibility in all joints, especially for people grasp the balance there is a great role.Second, safety.,Small risk of injury, when you wear helmets and protective gear, after the fall of a very small risk of injury.Third,entertaining. Roller has a strong entertainment and fun ,through the sport, it will let me out from the usual tension and heavy study and work，and it will achieve the physical and mental,let me have a good relax.
At the beginning, I had not a good job,I had many mistakes,but a few weeks later,I have some advancement ,the teacher said I was very good,I felt very happy.
During the club activity,I learnt a lot of things,I will work hard in my club in the future.

Volunteer Work

Because of Spring Festival,we had a long holiday.During the holiday,I did my homework,played computer games,watched TV and I did volunteer work.
We need 5 hours volunteer work time,so I need do volunteer work.In the beginning,I felt volunteer work is very boring,I did not like to do it,but after a few days,I understood do volunteer work's meaning.Almost of us are the only child of our family,so we often have a little selfish,when we do somethings,we always think more about ourselves,think a little about others.In this society,altruism and the spirit of teamwork are very important,we should learn altruism and the spirit of teamwork,it is better for us after we had a job.Do volunteer work can help us learn a lot of things.Altruism and the spirit of teamwork are one of the things.During volunteer work,we can learn how to think more about others,how to take care of others.
I chose a shop to do volunteer,the shop was my neighbour's.The neighbour took me very well,he allowed me to do volunteer work in his shop.The first day,he let me clean the shop.I begin to clean shop.First,I took broom and a broom sweeping, each corner should not miss. I sweep like this: I will start with the Village to the outside tried to sweep, not sparing a little trash.Then I mop the floor.I cared about 5 points.1, mop should be dry; 2,from the outside to inside; 3,people should retreat ;4, to drag the corner; 5, tables and chairs should be removed.And I also need serving guests .It is easy,I just need say "Welcome !" to every guests with smile.Another day,my volunteer work is clean the glasses,clean the commodity and introduce the commodity to the guests.I'll got a pot of water, took a piece of cloth, I put wet cloth, and started to clean glasses,I wipe the dust around window frames, and clean the window from top to bottom.After I clean the window,store manager said I did a good job.Then I used the dry cloth to clean the commodity.At last,I introduce some commodity to the guests.After I finished volunteer work,I felt very tired,but I also felt very happy.The feeling of help others.
This holiday,because of doing volunteer work,I feel very well,I had a good holiday.

Physical Activity

We need 10 hours physical activity time,so I should do physical activity..In the beginning,I thought physical activity is very boring,I did not like to do it,but after a few days,I understood do physical activity's meaning.We learn knowledge everyday,everyday we are very busy,and we often have no time to do physical activity,it bad for our bodies,after few years,we will become unhealthy.For our bodies,we should do physical activity.We have no enough time to do physical activity,so we should do more in the holiday. When I think of it,I want to do physical activity.I chose do physical activity in my home,because I had some sports apparatus in my home.I did physical activity everyday,everyday I did 1 hour physical activity used the sports apparatus.In the beginning,I felt a little difficulty when I do physical activity,after a few days,I felt more and more easily,and I felt I become a little stronger.I feel very happy now.

Dinner
Last month,I go to a Switzerland restaurant to have dinner with Amy,May,Victor,3 seniors and other classmates.We met at the classroom,then Sherry took us go to the Xinjiekou by bus and underground.When we arrived at thr restaurant,we feeled very rxcited and interested.The restaurant is very beautiful.There is a cow(sculpture ) in front of the restaurant.The ground is made of wood,the light is very romantic,and in the restaurant it smells very good.There are also a lot of beautiful pictures on the wall,and some farm implements were hanged on the wall.I love this Restaurant.

Last month,I went to the Nanjing University to visit the Wu Weishan Exhibition with my classmates and teachers.
Wu Weishan is a famous Chinese artist in the world.He is a Sculptor ,he is very good at sculpture.Wu Weishan is an artist who both have traditional and contemporary art style.He always use Chinese traditional art technique to make artworks( Chinese traditional art technique:When you make a artwork, you do not pay attention to the person’s appearance,but notice person’s expression and characteristic).Wu Weishan know a lot of artist in the world,he often meet them,and talk some things about art.Wu Wuishan try to learn the international art,he is learning,and improving himself,try to integrate with the international art. In the Wu Weishan Exhibition,we saw a lot of artworks.Such as,Sleeping Boy,Lu Xun,Qi Baishi and so on .In all the artworks,I like the BEATRIX(QUEEN of HOLLAND,HER MAJESTY,BEATRIX) best.
In 1996,BEATRIX invite Wu Weishan to make a sculpture about her.Wu Weishan feeled very happy and excited,but he also feeledthe responsibility.He know his opus represent Chinese art,so he tried his best to work.He found some data and pictures about BEATRIX.At last,Wu Weishan chose a picture------BEATRIX were visit China,she talk with a farmer, Her friendly smile moderate, This is the Mona Lisa-like smile humanistic charm, but also for the two countries to sow the seeds of friendship and laughter.
This artwork is called BEATRIX(QUEEN of HOLLAND,HER MAJESTY,BEATRIX).The artwork shows the sculpture.It is made by Wu Weishan in1996.The artwork shows the shape of a person’s face,Wu Weishan uses a lot of lines and curves to make it.The artwork is made in mud,so it is dark yellow.The artwork and BEATRIX are very alike,and the artwork expression BEATRIX’s spirit very plenitude.This artwork moved me,it made me feel the real art, art is sacred and great. When we see the artwork,we can feel the BEATRIX’s kind,wisdom and the king gaace.Wu Weishan’s intention is to make a majesty with female charm and charismatic leader.I love this artwork very much,it is the real art.Wu Weishan used the Chinese traditional art technique to work.Pay attenton to BEATRIX’s expression and characteristic--------- friendly smile moderate,peace,happiness,charm, kind,wisdom and the king gaace……It is perfect!
That day,we saw a lot of artworks,I feeled very happy.My classmates were also very happy.We talked some things about the artworks.Someone said he like the Sleeping Boy,because he thing the Sleeping Boy to show children, and reflects on the childhood of humanity a real emotional.Somebody said he like the LUXUN,because explain LUXUN’s characteristic------- stubborn andjustice.We had a great time that day.Now I understand the true art,I am really very happy!
